I am convinced that the same amount of times that I have to remind my son to put on his glasses is the same amount of times, if not more, that God reminds us to read and study His Word.
How are the two related Tiffany?
Glasses are a man-made tool.
The Word of God is a God-made tool.
Glasses are purposed to allow people to clearly see what is either unseen or blurred without the help of glasses.
The Word of God is purposed to allow people to clearly see what is unseen in the natural but can be seen spiritually.
Both tools assist the eyes to see so that a person can navigate life safely and wisely.
To some people, both glasses and reading the Word of God feels like a hinderance, all while there are those that don’t want to do life without either of the two.
God wants us to be the people that are opened to use and benefit from both glasses (if necessary) and the Word of God.
He wants this so that we can see not only natural things, but see things spiritually – that is by faith.
Faith in the unseen keeps us on the right path and away from the things that’ll cause us to stumble.
