I must admit a humbling truth…
The truth is that no matter how hard I try to show up and be the best mommy I can be to my children, there will ALWAYS be some things I am unable to do – but their father can.
I realized this during a moment my daughter ran to me for help with something, and when I looked down at her, I seen that what she needed help with had to be done by her father.
So, I told her to go to her father for help.
This lesson taught me the importance of knowing what people can do for us vs what God can do (anything).
At times, when we’re not careful and uses poor judgment, we can allow people to put their hands on something of ours that they were never meant to handle; It was for God to handle.
When we allow this to happen, our life will not come together like it should all because we’ve given people the opportunity to break what God was originally supposed to fix and help us with.
There isn’t anything impossible to God.
We are His children that He loves and cares for. Therefore, He wants us to run to Him for both the easy and hard things.
People, regardless of the relationship, abilities, and love for one another, are limited.
God is unlimited.
People can help to a certain extent.
God’s help is perfect and permanent.
It’s our responsibility to ensure that we take our problems and concerns to the hands of our Father.
People cannot do what only God can.
We must use discernment in every situation that requires a solution.
God has the ultimate help and resolutions we’ll ever need.
“Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”
