When I see my children’s eyes get picky or their nose start running, I immediately go into Dr. Mommy mode.
They don’t understand why they have to take medicine or additional vitamins, but they trust me enough to take what I give them and go on to bed when I tell them to.
Usually, by the next day, they are better because they allow me to take good care of them before a sickness brings them down.
In the same way, God cares for us and takes us through situations that we may not understand its purpose at the time, but is meant to keep us from taking on things that creates pain, sickness, or unfavorable results – though can all be avoided if we trust Him to care for us.
It is necessary that we trust His heart and believe that what He gives us or allows us to go through now is meant to save us later.
Troubles, hardships, and trials of many kinds will happen to everyone but not everyone has to respond the same.
‘Everyone‘ are believers in Christ.
In John 16:33, Jesus encourages His believers to ‘take heart‘.
It means to grab hold to His peace (with dear life). His peace is meant to guard are hearts and minds and keep us from falling.
Our good Father sees what we cannot see coming, knows what we don’t know, and hears the things we cannot hear – yet He is faithful to prepare us for everything.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
