When my daughter had to stay home from school due to a cold she had, I made my son aware that he’ll be taking the school bus alone.
I assured him that though his sister will not be with him, he is still not alone – Jesus is with him.
In the same way, the Father wants His children to know that though we may not have another human to go out into the world with us, for ministry purposes, we are not alone – the Holy Spirit is with us.
Knowing this, we can be confident that everything will be just fine.
We also know that we are protected, provided for, and even equipped with all that we need to do our work.
The Father made us a promise:
Just as He (God) was with Moses, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, He will be with us as well.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 NIV
