The Beauty of Patience: Trusting God’s Process

My oldest daughter, Kailani, seen her little sister’s fresh and new hairstyle after I finished it.

She was mesmerized by the style and the accessories I put in Kamryn’s hair.

She then wanted the style and accessories too, but she wasn’t willing to sit for the process.

This moment made me realize how so many people see what God has done to and for other people and would then begin to desire the same to be done for them – but isn’t willing to go through the process.

The fasting and praying process..

The spiritual cleansing process..

The reading and meditation process..

The reshaping and refining process..

We have a Father that is able and willing to give us every good and perfect thing, but He also wants us to be patient and willing to sit through the process as evidence that we want it bad enough.

Our willingness and effort to go through the process proves that we have faith and trust in Him to make us over and be better than before.

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
