A Future Hope

Up until the day my family went on vacation, my children were set on going to the beach.

Almost every few minutes, they’d run up to me and say, “Mama, we’re going to the beach!”

And I’d assure them that we were going.

The hope that my babies had about going to the beach reminded me of the hope God wants His children to have for the eternal future that awaits us.

Even through testing and trials, we can still have this joyful hope about what’s coming.

What joy it is to be hopeful in the promises of God!

The best part of hoping for what God promised is that He is a Man of His Word.

Who He is and what He promised is a sure thing.

The children of God can truly look forward to everything that is written in His Word.

This is the hope that is worth the wait.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”
