Quite often when my family and I are in public, whether with family and friends, or out at the store, or maybe eating dinner, I’d observe them and their behaviors.
I love it when I see them do what I taught them in private.
It assures me that they are listening and that what I teach them is indeed of value to them in some way or another.
In the same way, it makes Father God pleased to see His children living in the way that His word teaches and doing exactly what He trained them to do in private.
What is done in public stems from what is done in private.
Nothing comes from thin air.
This also points to the reason why intimate time with the Father is important.
What is expected from His children is that when we go out into world and go about life, our character reflects His nature and everything that we have been trained to do.
This is what pleases and honors the Father.
Therefore, be careful how you live because not only are people watching you, but God is carefully observing everything we do and listening to every word we say.
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
