A Good Promise

I had to run a quick errand to get something from the store. I had with me my son and oldest daughter.

Since it was just one item that I needed, I left them waiting in the car.

(To the “concerned” moms, they were completely fine.. they were eating their kids meal and the doors were locked & the windows were up)

….. moving along

Before I left the car to go into the store, I told my daughter that I’d bring her something good if she would wait patiently for me to come back.

She nodded her head as a sign that she agreed with the deal.

Fast forward…

As soon as I made it back into the car, she immediately asked for what I promised her.

She held on to my promise because she 1. Believed me

2. Trusted my word and wanted what was going to be good to her.

Let’s refocus our attention now…

Are you, mom, holding on to the good promises of God?

Are you, mom, even acknowledgeable about what you’ve been promised by your Heavenly Father?

Are you, mom, patiently waiting?

It’s ok if you answered ‘no’ to either of those questions… the good news is that TODAY is a new day.

You can find out that the promises you have been promised is so good and pleasing.

And guess what else??

You will not be disappointed because Father God will never fail you.

Absolutely EVERYTHING He’s promised is perfect.

I challenge you to find at least 3 promises that Father God gave and hold on them patiently.

Always sit in expectations because you will, indeed, receive what has been promised.

A MOMent to Reflect:

Every good Father always gives good things to their children because of their love for them.

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
