Each time I have my daughter’s in the bathroom, whether to brush their teeth and get ready for the day or to just look at their new hairstyle I had done to their hair, I always become happy, proud, and pleased.
Why?
Because not only do I see their own unique beauty, but I see myself in them.
In their character and in their looks.
I wonder what Father God sees when He looks at us?
Are we reflecting His image and His character as we should?
It is possible to know the sure answer to this question by simply reading His Word.
His Word is the mirror we all need in our lives.
It reveals the truth – and nothing but the truth.
It reveals the sin we think is so minor.
It reveals the unforgiveness that we feel is okay to hold on to.
It even reveals the unbelief we have in the Father.
God sees everything – physically and spiritually.
But does He see a reflection of Himself when we stand before Him?
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
