No Question About The Way

After finishing some work in my oldest daughter’s room, I got up to go into another room. Walking out, I turned to my youngest daughter Kamryn, who was with me and told her to “Come on.”

With no words, no groans, or any crying, she got up and followed me.

What happened in this moment captured my attention that many people would miss.

When God tells us to “Come, follow me“, how many of those times do we rightly respond without grumbling, complaining, or questioning His leading?

Do we trust our Father to lead us right?

Do we trust our Father to take us on to a place where He gets the glory and where everything works for our good?

Do we trust our Father enough to get up and follow Him without questioning Him as if He’s failed us before?

God’s heart for us is purely set on being good and faithful to all His children.

Even when we do not see where His hand is taking us, we can trust His heart.

In His heart, there is love, kindness, and promises to us that He is set on fulfilling.

Why would a good and loving Father steer us wrong?

That is not His character to do so.

So because it is not His character to lead us astray, we can follow Him with pure joy, great expectation, and gratitude because we are moving on to what is good.

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God”.
