Whenever I am in the bathroom for any reason, my children like to play with my clothes, shoes, and things in my walk-in closet.
One day, my daughter Kamryn, decided to run into my closet and shut the door behind herself. So, instead of me messing up her fun by making her come out, I decided to play along with her. I then opened the door, ran into the closet with her, and shut the door.
The closet’s light was off as we stood in complete darkness.
I purposely moved away to the opposite side of the closet just to witness her reaction since she could not see or feel me near her.
I then called her name and softly said, “Mommy is here.”
She responded saying, “Ok” as she stood calmly.
During our walk with Father God, there will be dark moments that may feel lonely, but we have a good father that will be with us and will never leave nor forsake us.
Because of His faithfulness, God will stick with us through everything. Even when we can’t see Him moving or working, we can trust His voice [His Word] to remind us that He is with us and is there to direct us when we cannot see.
Our faith is the ultimate key that we exercise daily. It is the very thing that will help us continually believe God and His promises, regardless of the situations and circumstances we face.
God cannot and will not fail and…….
Unlike some people, God can be trusted at all times!
"Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you."
Psalm 139:7-12 NIV
