As my youngest daughter, Kamryn, climbed up onto her stool, she stumbled. As I watched her, I could tell that she was nervous and was probably sure that she would have a very uncomfortable fall.
Eventually, she lost her grip and fell backwards.
I was behind her all along to catch her, though, she did not know this.
She was able to fall right into safety – my hands.
How does it make you feel in knowing that Father God is there to catch you every time you stumble?
Can you recall a time when Father God caught you when you thought you were about to make a hard fall?
Do you believe that He has your back at all times?
Do you believe that He will not let you fall?
As you ponder on these questions, my encouragement to you is to know that we are safely in His hands – no matter how high or far we’ve climbed to, He’s always near.
"The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand."
Psalms 37:23-24
