The Perfect Flow

I was giving my 1 year-old daughter water from a water bottle. I had it tilted good enough for her to drink at a slow pace so that she could handle the flow and avoid choking.

I guess she decided that my flow wasn’t enough so she decided to turn the bottle up and then….. disaster striked.

Water got into her nose and too much got into her mouth, causing her to cough up the water and grasp for relief.

Then… revelation came.

How many times have we forced our way to get something or more of what we had, just to find out that God has already given us just enough.

The enemy will deceive us into believing that we don’t have enough and will trap us in the place of greed. What he fail to tell us is that if we bite off more than we can chew, devastation will soon follow.

We must know, understand, AND trust that God’s provision is enough. He gives us just enough to handle.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

It is important that we appreciate the current flow in our lives.

When we can accept Father God’s perfect flow, there will be no drowning, no suffering, and no grasping for relief.

The flow will be perfect…

The timing will be perfect…

And the plan will be perfect.

A MOMent to Reflect:

Father God will never put more on us than what we can bare.

Too many people blame Him for suffering when in reality, it was their doing – not God’s.

We are given the freedom to make our own choices.

A person with true maturity will say, “I accept and understand that this is my fault, not God’s. I made the decision to do XY&Z…….. but help me Father.”

And guess what?

Father God is so good, gracious, and merciful that He will help us even in our bad decisions. He will always make a way of escape so that we wouldn’t drown (or die) in the end.

“There are two things, Lord, I want you to do for me before I die: Make me absolutely honest and don't let me be too poor or too rich. Give me just what I need. If I have too much to eat, I might forget about you; if I don't have enough, I might steal and disgrace your name.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭30‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭CEV‬‬
