Mom, It’s Already In You!

My 1 year-old daughter, Kamryn, is in the stage of standing, but hesitant to walk.

Of course, as her mom, I walk behind her while I hold her hands for support.

Some days ago, as we began walking, I seen that her legs were in a strong stance, so I gently let her go without her noticing…..

SHE TOOK 3 STEPS!!

She did not think she could walk.

But I seen that she was strong and capable of doing it.

I knew the power and strength she had in her.

I knew how far she could make it without me having to do the work for her.

All the times I walked with her was practice for the real walk she needed to take on her own some day.

In the same way, we tend to fail at noticing that Father God has prepared us for a time that would soon come.

When that time comes – though He will still be with us, He will gently let us go so that we will realize that we do have what it takes to do what He has all along prepared us to do.

We will not let the enemy convince us that we cannot raise our children the right way because that is a lie.

The truth is that our Father God is with us every step of the way. Leading and guiding, equipping, and training us to love and support our children. He will not let us fall.

He’s so faithful and good.

See that we have it in us to make the next steps.

Go on now, mom. You got this!

The strength and power is in you.

A MOMent to Reflect:

We may have all questioned a few situations and circumstances that have taken place in our lives and asked the questions, “What was the purpose behind that?” or “How can that serve me now?

If you take a moment with God, we can see how He can take something that we seen as a negative, and turn it around for our good. (Romans 8:28)

The very thing(s) that the enemy tried to use against us, God uses it to help us take the next step to life.

You will find yourself getting through a tough season all because of the preparation that previous seasons had done for you – without you realizing it.

Always remember,

Father God is with you.

Father God is in you.

Father God loves you.
