Step Out Anyway

I noticed that each of my children have their own way of reassuring themselves to do something before they actually do it. If they’re too afraid to do something, they will look to me to give them a nod that signals whether or not they should do it. Sometimes, they may just grab my hand and have me to walk with them as support.

The courage to step out and do something with me being alongside them takes them on another level mentally and emotionally.

Though they might be small on the outside, there’s a roaring lion on the inside of them all because of who they know is with them.

My presence gives them a confidence boost and reminds them that they are victorious in whatever they put their minds to.

In the same way, God encourages us – just as He did Joshua – to be strong and courageous because His presence is with us, no matter what.

Moses displays the importance of God’s presence by refusing to go on his assigned mission IF God’s presence did not go with them.

As we raise our children, work, run our business, and even go to teach and preach the Gospel, we can trust that we have the presence of God in us and with us.

His presence empowers us, strengthens us, encourages us, protects us, and comforts us.

God’s presence makes the difference!

A MOMent to Reflect:

In the moments you feel like you can’t take that necessary step to face that challenge, make a decision, or show up for your children, do it anyway.

You are not alone – God is with you.

Be courageous.

Be bold.

Be hopeful for the best.

Because your Father is with you – standing strong and tall like that roaring lion.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬
