Only by the Spirit

In order for God’s will to be done in each of our lives, we MUST partner with Heaven. How can we make this happen?
What must be done?

Fasting and prayer.
Matthew 6: 5-18

In a time of true fasting, we pull ourselves from the world and all natural elements, and we step into the spiritual realm.
One of the requirements while fasting is to read and meditate on the word. Consume it. We literally make a swap with meals – a natural one for a spiritual one.
This matters because whereas natural foods have to eventually exit the body, regardless of how, spiritual nourishment remains.
The Word of God is known to be many things to the body, indeed. One of the many things it is known for is its power. Power that actually works – on those that actually want it to work and even for those that do not want it.
How is this?

“So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Though we are flesh (human), we are to operate according to the Spirit. No matter how strong we may get in our natural bodies, we cannot fight a spiritual battle. This is why the Word of God informs us – in Ephesians 6:10-19, of the armor that is needed for that which is spiritual. It is made clear that the natural side of things is not what we ought to focus on and deal with. We are dealing with the things we cannot see. So we step into the spiritual realm through fasting and prayer. Being in this place, we can then see what IS really happening. We can hear – for
ourselves, what God is really saying. We can understand what He wants us to do and how to get it done. Everything is made clear.
Things are made clear ONLY through the Spirit, NOT the flesh. 1 Corinthians 2:6-16
